Snow Days

When you live in Florida your whole life, you don’t have much experience with snow. So when the first snow of the year falls on your new home, it’s pretty exciting. After getting bundled up, it’s time to explore our new winter wonderland.

The narrow steps to our apartment become even more challenging covered in snow.

Lots of people choose to wait out the snow indoors. Snow piles up on most of the cars in the neighborhood.

Snow days are fun when you have nothing you need to do. But when one needs to go to school or work, walking through the slush can change your opinion on snow real quick. I’m still glad we experienced a few snow days though—something improbable in sunny Florida!
